TENETS OF FAITH AND DOCTRINE

House of Faith accepts the Scriptures as the revealed Will of God, the all-sufficient rule of faith and practice, and for the purpose of maintaining general unity, adopts these statements as Fundamental Truths and Doctrine.

The Scriptures Inspired

The Bible is the inspired, authorized and authoritative Word of God, the infallible rule of faith and conduct, and is superior to conscience and reason, but not contrary to reason (2 Timothy: 3:15-17; 1 Peter 1:23-25; Hebrews 4:12). Apostolic Creed

We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible. And in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all ages, God of God, Light of Light, true God of true God, begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father:
by whom all things were made:
who for us men, and for our salvation, came down from heaven, and was incarnate by the Holy Ghost of the Virgin Mary, and was made man:
he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, suffered, and died, was buried, and rose again on the third day, according to the Scriptures, and ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father:
from thence he shall come again, with great glory, to judge the living and the dead:
Of whose kingdom there shall be no end.
And we believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of life, who proceedeth from the Father and the Son, who is with the Father and the Son to be worshipped and glorified, who spake by the prophets and the apostles.
And we believe in one holy universal apostolic Church: we acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins: we look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.
